__Math Tutoring on Solving Quadratic Inequalities__

A **second-degree polynomial function** is known as **Quadratic function. **When these types of **functions** use **inequality symbols** which include the symbols known as **less than <, greater than ˃, less than or equal to ≤, and greater than or equal to ≥, **the expression is called **Quadratic Inequality. **

Guidelines for solving **polynomial inequalities: **

**Step 1:** Find all of the **0s** of the **polynomial** or in this case the **quadratics** and then arrange the **0s** in increasing order. The **zeros** are called its **critical number.**

** Step 2:** Plot the numbers on the number line as **open **or** closed points** based upon the original **inequality symbol**.

**Step 3:** Choose a **test value** in each interval to see if it satisfies **inequality** or not. If the **test value** produces a true statement, the entire interval is** true** and if the **test value** produces a false statement, the entire interval is **false**.

**Step 4:** From the information, we can clearly **graph **our solution and then state the solution using interval notation or **inequalities.**
