A Rate is a ratio that compares two quantities with different units.As a result the units must always be included.
A Unit Rate is a rate when the denominator is 1.Unit rates are used in real life in business, sports, budgeting, science and more.
A Proportion states that two ratios or rates are equal. Ifare two equal ratios, then is Proportion.
Unit Scale is a ratio that compares the dimensions of a scaled object to the actual dimensions of an object.
Scale Factor is similar to a unit scale except no units are given. Scale Factor is a ratio comparing the scaled measurement to the actual measurement.
