__Math Tutoring on Evaluating Expressions using Integers__

For evaluating expressions using Integers following are the Rule for **Order of Operations:**

1. Calculate within the innermost **Parentheses** or **Grouping Symbol**, **( ), [ ], { }, І І,** and above or below fraction bars.

2. Simplify all expressions with **Exponents**.

3. **Multiply** and **Divide** from left to right.

4. **Add** and **Subtract** from left to right.

For remembering the Order of Operations easily, following line is used:

**P**lease **E**xcuse **M**y **D**ear **A**unt **S**ally.

The initial letter of each word represents an **Operation**. **“P”** for **Parentheses**, **“E”** for **Exponents** and so on.

*The rule for Subtracting integers:*

Subtracting an integer is the same as adding the opposite.

*The rule for Multiplying Integers:*

1. If the signs of the two integers are the same, the product is positive.

2. If the signs of the two integers are different, the product is negative.
